Which web hosting companies are more reliable, the ones on the left, or the ones on the right?

They're all promoted with vigor. Advertising makes them all look pretty good.

But if you just rely on that, there's a good chance you won't be happy with the service you choose. I know. I've spent years suffering from Lousy Host Syndrome.

So where can you go to find reliable information on web hosting companies, information that will help you to make a good choice?

Finding A Reliable Host

The Better Business Bureau is one of the few organizations that will give you honest and accurate information. Their ratings aren't driven by sales or commissions. And they have the resources to monitor a large industry, such as web hosting.

You've probably already noticed the Better Business Bureau ratings under the names of web hosting companies, both on the left and right sides. These ratings are links to the BBB's pages on each company.

There are twice as many links on the right side - links to the BBB, and links to the web hosting companies. I only link to companies with good ratings from the BBB. Hopefully, this will help you to avoid making some of the mistakes that I've made in the past.

Before reading what a company has to say about itself, it's a good idea to read what the BBB says about it. That way you won't waste your time reading advertising that may lead you astray.
